Now, I will explain how I achieved the $1K within 2 weeks using adsense referrals.
First of all, I must say that you need loads of traffic to reach that mark, but there are some tricks that can be used to improve the conversion.
Hey, Dont feel bad, there is no broken TOS here, no blackhat or whatever, so dont panic. Just a smart way to reach the target

The way I used was the firefox referral program from ad$en$e, they are still paying well for that program and coz the software is free the conversion is great.
But of course we all know that ad$en$e is not available for `some type of sites` so I looked for something to bypass the problem, found some services that was sharing revenue and finally got 1 that worked as I want. That one is firefoxme.com where we can use our ad$en$e code to promote the program without troubles.

Some tips I used to get a great conversion was creating a section within my friend´s high traffic site that was not available for all the public and only reserved for firefox users. There are a lot of ways to block users to reach a page, so I used a simple javascript to redirect people based on their web browser. You can google for “javascript browser redirect” or just go to http://www.i-code.co.uk/javascript/firefoxredirect.php to get the little javascript that will make the trick.

As said, we created a small video section reserved for FF users in the site using the above javascript that will redirect people using MSIE or other browser to our firefoxme.com/required.php page where our own G.ad$en$e code was showing up. Using that way we converted about 0.60% of our impressions in targeted traffic with a 25% final conversion. Here the feb 2008 stats: http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/9…25statsep2.gif

So more or less, that´s all. We have a section that´s only available for FF users using the above javascript, so if a MSIE user reachs that section he will be redirected to our firefoxme page where they can install the browser and come back later to see the content, and because we are not placing our ad$en$e code in our page we are fine with the program . Basically, we are linking to firefoxme only . Got it?

Of course u can avoid the restricted section and just put a banner, but conversion will not be that great, anyway we all learn trying, so drop me a line if u find another solution.
